About Oban
Oban is perhaps most famed for being the 'Gateway to the Isles' with regular and frequent ferries offering services to Mull, Colonsay, Coll, Tiree, Lismore, Barra and South Uist.
Mull and Iona can be visited as a day trip with the ferry crossing to Mull taking around 40 minutes.
Oban is also an excellent base for outdoor activities such as hill walking, diving, cycling and photography with a fine selection of forest walks not too far away.
